Abstract
Eminent professor Ashutosh Bhattacharya has discussed the form and nature
of Mangalkabya, one of the most important examples of medieval Bengali
literature, in his book 'History of Bangla Mangalkabyo'. In the field of literary
history, all researchers have discussed the stories, characters, biographies of
poets, etc. of Manasamangal kabya. Some researchers have discussed
Manasamangal kabya individually. But it is safe to say that a comparative
discussion of the morphology of nine (selected) poets of Bengali
Manasamangal poetry has not been done before. Here, I have tried to analyze
the differences between these nine poets in terms of the style of writing poetry
and the similarities and differences between them in some aspects, with the
help of appropriate quotations from their works.
