Abstract
এই প্রবন্ধে পশ্চিমবঙ্গের উত্তরাঞ্চলে রাজবংশী ভাষা আন্দোলনের সমাজ-ঐতিহাসিক প্রেক্ষাপট, সাংবিধানিক স্বীকৃতি দাবি, পরিভাষাগত বিভাজন এবং প্রশাসনিক প্রতিক্রিয়ার বিশ্লেষণ করা হয়েছে। কোচবিহার রাজ্যের ভারতভুক্তির পর কোচ-রাজবংশী জনগোষ্ঠীর মধ্যে যে সাংস্কৃতিক ও রাজনৈতিক প্রান্তিকতা তৈরি হয়, তা-ই ভাষার মাধ্যমে আত্মপরিচয় পুনর্গঠনের এক অভ্যন্তরীণ তাগিদে পরিণত হয়েছে। ‘রাজবংশী’ ভাষাকে স্বতন্ত্র ভাষা হিসেবে স্বীকৃতির দাবির মধ্যে দিয়ে এই আন্দোলন একটি বৃহত্তর জাতিসত্তা নির্মাণ এবং স্বায়ত্তশাসনের আকাঙ্ক্ষাকে প্রতিনিধিত্ব করতে শুরু করে। তবে ‘রাজবংশী’ ও ‘কামতাপুরী’র মধ্যে মতানৈক্য আন্দোলনের অভ্যন্তরীণ ঐক্য বিনষ্ট করেছে এবং প্রশাসনিক স্বীকৃতির পথে বড় বাধা হিসেবে দাঁড়িয়েছে। পশ্চিমবঙ্গ সরকার রাজবংশী উন্নয়ন বোর্ড ও ভাষা একাডেমি গঠনের মাধ্যমে প্রতীকী উদ্যোগ নিলেও, বাস্তব শিক্ষা-প্রশাসনে ভাষার অন্তর্ভুক্তিতে কার্যকর পদক্ষেপ গ্রহণ করেনি। ২০২০ সালে গঠিত ‘কামতাপুরী ভাষা একাডেমি’ও অনেকাংশে প্রতীকী মাত্র। কেন্দ্রীয় সরকার রাজনৈতিকভাবে সংবেদনশীল এই ইস্যুতে সচেতন নীরবতা বজায় রেখেছে, যা আন্দোলনের অগ্রগতিকে আরও জটিল করে তুলেছে। প্রবন্ধে ভারতের অন্যান্য সফল ভাষা আন্দোলনের তুলনামূলক বিশ্লেষণও অন্তর্ভুক্ত হয়েছে - যেমন তামিল, বোডো ও সাঁওতালি ভাষা আন্দোলন - যেগুলো সাংগঠনিক ঐক্য, সাহিত্যচর্চা ও রাজনৈতিক প্রতিনিধিত্বের মাধ্যমে সাংবিধানিক স্বীকৃতি অর্জন করেছে। তুলনায়, রাজবংশী আন্দোলনে নেতৃত্বের বিভক্তি, সাংগঠনিক দুর্বলতা এবং পরিভাষাগত দ্বিধা একটি বড় প্রতিবন্ধকতা। তবুও স্থানীয় বিদ্যালয়ে ভাষার প্রচেষ্টা, ডিজিটাল প্ল্যাটফর্মে সাহিত্যচর্চা, এবং সংস্কৃতিকর্মীদের নিরলস প্রচেষ্টা একটি আত্ম-সচেতন ভাষা সংস্কৃতির জন্ম দিচ্ছে, যা ভবিষ্যতে প্রশাসনিক স্বীকৃতির পথে ইতিবাচক ভূমিকা রাখতে পারে।
