Abstract

In this essay I will highlight how environmental awareness has been seen during the construction of Vastu, Nagar or Temple in the Mangalkavyas. Environmental awareness is a phrase of the modern age that modern people began to think seriously in the second half of this nineteenth century. In the second half of the 20^th century, this issue became so important that a world-wide environmental stir was created. This issue of environmentalism has also emerged in medieval Mangalkavya. This issue of environment protection also come up in the context of that time. Although the literature of that time was mainly religious, in several parts of the story the poets have presented various information related to the environment while maintaining their social awareness. Therefore, the relationship between humans and nature-environment has been going on since ancient times and the middle ages is no exception. And of course the issue of ecosystem has also come up.
