Abstract

In the medieval period, poetry was primarily narrative in nature. In discussions of medieval Bengali literature, the relationships between male and female characters become a particularly important topic. These relationships, as depicted in the literature, include marital relationships, romantic relationships, extramarital affairs, and so on. We will endeavor to explore these relationships in our discussion.
