Abstract
The child's mind is a realm of fantasy, they look at the world with immense wonder. Everything in the world is new to them. The child's mind is able to take the essence that our adult mind is unable to extract from the impossible effortlessly. children mind is not burdened with the question of the impossible or the unrealistic. That is why one of the most popular forms of children's literature is the fairy tale, a very familiar form of folklore. In ancient folklore, the stories of all the beloved kings and queens were told by their mother and grandmother, and the child used to get the essence while lying in the moonlight. Today, in the present era, society has changed, but in the eyes of today's child, the magical world of fairy tales is infatuated. Because the child is forever. Times have changed, but children are the only ones who have not changed. But at the present time, the fairy tale dose not told only by the mother and grandmother, instead of it’s told by the modern children's writers. But with the change of time, the life and surroundings of the people changed, as a result of the demand of the era, the modern writers have been added to the ancient body of fairy tales, as well as the change in tastes, many things have been excluded, that is, the new form of fairy tales has been in the hands of modern writers.
In the twentieth century, children's writer Bimal Ghosh enriched the children's world by combining novels, short stories, plays, travelogues and other varieties. Every time he wanted to bring out some new topics through his writings and for the all-round development of children. His fairy tales are also seen in this effort. Just as we get his original fairy tales from his hands, he has translated the fairy tales of different countries under one page in the ‘Deshbidesher rupkatha’. Standing in his twentieth century, he could not deny the demands of the era. He has fulfilled the demands of modernity while maintaining the ancient spirit of fairy tales. Retaining the characteristics of ancient fairy tales, he has created a dramatic situation in the story, as well as the story of the ancient bangoma-bangomi, the story of the rakkhos, and in the same story he successfully added the story of the joy of youth, the victory of the courage and hard work of the people. Through my discussions, I will see how successful the renewal has been done by Bimal Ghosh.
