Abstract

In the history of Indian freedom struggle, the women participation has been observed both in non-violent and also violent movement. Participation of women in political movement generally happened after the Bengal division. Though there are distinctive instances of women freedom fighter but we will focus on the significance of political participation of Pritilata Waddedar and Kalpana Dutta. Both women actively participate in freedom struggle organized in Chattagram. Pritilata died after taking Potassium cyanate after taking action in European club in Chattagram. Kalpana Dutta had the long political life before and after freedom. The journey both of these courageous women creates an impact in freedom struggle in our country.
