Abstract

Swami Vivekananda said, “Education is the manifestation of the perfection already in man.” People across the globe refer to the Indian education system as a vast treasure trove of knowledge. Whether we look at the Vedic system, the Brahmanical system, the Buddhist system, or move toward the modern era, it becomes evident that the foundation of the modern Indian education system is built upon its ancient heritage and traditions.​With the progress of civilization, radical changes have been observed in the education system. In reality, education does not merely exchange information; it efficiently carries forward a nation’s cultural, social, spiritual, philosophical, political, and economic traditions from one generation to the next.
