Gender discrimination in Bengali poetry/ বাংলা কবিতায় লিঙ্গ বৈষম্য

Abstract

Gender politics is like a terrible infection in society. Men's rights and hegemony are key words. As a result, women have been neglected and oppressed in the society for a long time. They had no right to education, freedom of speech. In particular, women have not had the right to protest against patriarchal empowerment for a long time. Either in society or in literature. Literature is a reflection of social life. Its influence can be seen in Bengali literature especially in poetry. We will try to highlight the issue through the analysis of Bengali poetry of the 19th and 20th centuries.
