Abstract

Politics in the history of West Bengal and India is like the ringing of a temple bell. The bell that once struck echoes through all the world. Similarly, once politics starts, its influence spreads in every field of the world. And this is how this politics has been changing at every level from the post-independence period to the present day. In the meantime, the field of politics has strengthened based on the Naxalbari movement of the six decades and this politics has created a huge gap between the urban and rural areas in the nineteenth century. This politics has become a matter of great challenge between the educated and the uneducated. Where the educated society is not getting due respect due to lack of jobs or they are being questioned about respect, merit etc. At present, due to this politics, this educated society is constantly being corrupted by uneducated people in power. Various writers such as Samaresh Basu, Mahasweta Devi, Samaresh Majumdar, Shaibal Mitra, Abhijit Sen etc. have observed the picture of these events of politics in a very beautiful way. Similarly, their successor Bimal Kar did not stop. He has quite influenced the political level in his writings. In his writings, the struggle to sustain existence, the tension of love-dislike, the conflict of life and death have come up.
