Abstract

Samaresh Majumdar has highlighted the subtle aspects of love in several novels. As there were no restrictions in this regard, his interpretation never became obscene. Some of his famous love novels are 'Kalbela', 'Daybandhan', 'Niktakatha', 'Ferrari'. Different views of love can be observed here. It has a distinct lesson in consciousness. In the novel 'Kalbela' we see love and revolution together. As well as the struggle with society. This is a love story where love stays along with revolution. The author has given motivation to fight with it. Sometimes responsibility becomes another name for love. Samaresh Majumder shows how one can love another from taking responsibilities. He also showed that to judge people, it is not necessary to have eyes only, but also the vision of the mind. Sometimes the author starts with a fictional love story and ends it with a deep reality. The author conveys the spirit that love can only survive on a promise. Ever warned that just as love makes life full, its failure makes life hell. He encouraged to love yourself. If you can't love yourself, you can't love others. In the novel 'Mohini', the author explains what love really is.
