Abstract

The poet’s world is created through the selection, application and arrangement of words. Most of the poets of the thirties suffer from the complicacy of words. Sudhindranath Dutta, Bishnu De, Amiya Chakroborty gave importance to the words outside the known table. From that point of view the poets of the forties created their own language of thinking through the traditional words. Subhas Mukhopadhyay is considered to be a pioneer in this tradition. Along with the change in observation of life, he changed the form of poetry and wanted to find a new language of poetry.
