Abstract

Dinesh Ch. Sen was a great scholar of Bengali language & literature. He was an eminent researcher and a intellectual essayist. We all know that Vaishnab Literature had a great role in Medieval Bengali Literature. After appearance of great Mahaprabhu, Vaishnab literature has changed significantly and the scenario of the whole Bengali Literature has changed. So in the path of vaishnab philosophy and literature there are a long list of researcher and scholars. Acharya Dinesh Ch Sen was one of them. He is not only a Researcher, with his devotion and passion he reached the Vaishnab literature in a height. He wrote many books in English language regarding Vaishnab literature and great chaitanyadev. His two books “The Vaishnava Literature of Medieval Bengal” (1917) and “Chaitanya and his Companions” (1917) are the greatest work in English language. Thus he sprayed vaisnab culture and Bengali literature to the abroad.
