Abstract

Shaheed Qadri (1942 - 2016) is a different generation of representative poetic practice of six decades of Bangladesh. His self-absorbed lifestyle in poetry; Makes him particularly familiar with novelty of subject and style. By composing only four poems, he marked his own position in Bengali poetry. He associated himself directly with the representational poetry movement of the sixties. Sad generation, Shakkhor, Konthoshhor, Shamakal, Kavikantha etc. He is one of the leaders of the Little Magazine Movement. In the tumultuous political struggle environment of the 1960s, he has left the signature of originality in his own poetic spirit by acquiring different knowledge of poetic style from Euro-American poets. Urban sufferings, conflicts, civil loneliness are expressed in different degrees in his poems. He wanted to see the whole society, state, country or the whole world from a distance outside the world from the position of the isolation that the prevailing colonial economic conflicts made him look for the exile of the historical event of independence, the partition of India, the cry of subjugation of the people of East Bengal after the creation of Pakistan. He wanted to isolate himself from civil society for a scumbag situation. So, from Shahid Qadri's first poem Utaaradhikar (1963), Tomake Abhibadan Priyatma (1974), Kothao Koo Krandan Nei (1978), and Amar Chumbongulo pouchay dao (2009), his life has been full of devotion to art in all his poems Wrote the saga.
