When times change, the form of literature changes. The taste and mind of the literary reader also change. But the depth of thought or the desired emotional response never changes. The unity or combination of form with thought increases the durability of literature. Romantic love stories are the best examples of narrative style in Medieval Bengali Literature. In addition, the works of Bengali Muslim poets reveal the sweetness of the amorous appeal of human life cherished in the present era.

The dominance of biological attraction towards men and women is a part of life built on the flesh and blood of reality. The strong lust of man has never created social chaos in this type of poetry. Thanks to Indian devotion and the philosophy of happiness, it has become an ideal of love and sacrifice. The lover-lover relationship here leaves behind the form of the devotee and God, the infatuation of love, and seeks transcendental happiness. Alongside the medieval poetic works like ‘Lorchandani and Satimayana’, ‘Yusuf Julekha’, ‘Padmavati’, ‘Laili Majnu’, ‘Mrigavat’, ‘Chandayan’, ‘Madhumalat’, ‘Vidyasundara’, ‘Chandravati’ seem to weave the flowing life of human beings.

The central element of Bengali romance love stories written by Muslim poets is love, of course, this love is human; at its core is a pair of man and woman. Although stories centered on the love relationship between man and woman or hero and heroine gained popularity, at that time that subject was completely shrouded in the veil of religion. In this regard, we can only think of one thing - at that time, in order to resist the excessive attraction of biological needs at the center of love thoughts, the veil of religion or theory was taught on the external level of love poetry to gain a sensual form. Our task is to uncover the veil of the past and discover the formless jewel of selfless love. In today’s robotic 21st century lifestyle, we must understand the attraction and power of human love and understand the importance of all kinds of achievements, including happiness and sorrow, sacrifice and patience. The result of reading medieval love stories will teach us that lesson.
