Abstract

Anita Agnihotri was a feminist writer of the 21 st century. She was an exceptional writer in Bengali literature. Her writings reflect a fundamental perspective on woman, which has given her literature a unique quality. Each characture has become a voice of its time. She has portrayed reality with an unwavering honesty. In this paper I have explored those charactures, shaped by their times, which serve as a reflection of that era. Her female charactures are living documents of their time.
