In a lower-middle-class family, son Prasun responds to his father’s unfair humiliation on the football field. Twenty-four chapters of the novel depict the main character Prasun’s struggle for success and establishment in the world of football. Many people in the neighborhood have come and gone on the difficult path of realizing Prasun’s dream.
