Abstract

It is an established fact that Rabindranath is not only a Philosopher of high stature but a Social philosopher as well. But the Purpose of this Paper is not a to establish tries to focus on some aspects of Tagore Society. Education and culture thinking from when we shall ultimately be able to derive a picture of his ideal Society. The object of the Paper is to analyze the Society and education thoughts of Tagore his basic conception of society and education culture and its process. The paper primarily based on Secondary sources Like Rabindra Books and Articles etc. He believe that education should help and individual to attain complete manhood, so that all his powers may be developed to the fullest extent for his own Individual Perfection. Rabindranath also believed that the education & Culture of a country a acquires shape and substance only against the entire background and it is important there is a Strong relationship between education & Society.
