Abstract

Hasan Azizul Haque is one of the most important writer of Bangladesh for his narration and insight of society. His writings display the true character of people and social forms. The freedom fight of Bangladesh played a great part in his short story book ‘Namhin Gotrohin”. How he displayed females within the phase of the liberation war and afterward, that is the search point of this paper. He portrayed women as passive members of the liberation war. They (women) took part as a victim in his stories of this book. The passive narration of building the character of women is seen even in the statement of this book. Hasan Azizul Haque’s writeup showed immense promise to show the true history of the liberation war and afterward but women did not share proper light and attention.
